Fees & Reservations

Park Entrance Fees
Private vehicle: $10.00
- Good for 7 consecutive days at all park entrances.

Pedestrian/ Cyclist: $5.00 - Good for 7 consecutive days at all park entrances. Admits one individual when entering by foot, bicycle, or motorcycle. Individuals 16 years old and younger, are admitted free of charge.

Everglades National Park Annual Pass: $ 25.00 - Valid for 12 months from the date of purchase for unlimited visits to the park. It admits the purchaser and any accompanying persons in a single, private, non-commercial vehicle, or the purchaser and accompanying immediate family (spouse, children, parents) when entry is by other means (bicycle, foot, and boat).

Commercial Tour - Entrance fees are charged based on the seating capacity of the vehicle.

Motorcoach (26 or more passengers) - $200
Minibus (16-25 passengers) - $100
Van (7- 15 passengers) - $75
Sedan (1-6 passengers) - $25

Frontcountry Camping Fees & Reservations
Long Pine Key
108 drive-up sites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Sites are $16.00 ($8.00 for senior/access pass holders) per night.

Reservations for individual sites are not accepted. Group camping (minimum 10 people) reservations can be made online or by calling 1-877-444-6777 (International: 518-885-3639) after November 20.

Flamingo
235 drive-up sites are available. Sites are $16.00 ($8.00 for senior/access pass holders) per night.

Reservations are accepted and are strongly recommended. Reservations can either be made online or by calling 1-877-444-6777 (International: 518-885-3639) after November 20th.

Electrical hookups are available at 41 sites in T-Loop. These are $30.00 per site ($15.00 per site for Senior/ Access pass holders).
This fee applies to anyone using these sites, regardless of whether they use the electric or not.

Backcountry Camping Fees
A permit is required for these remote areas of the park.


April - November 16 - Wilderness permits are free of charge, obtainable by self-registration at the Gulf Coast & Flamingo Visitor Center.


November 17 - April - $10.00 per permit plus $2.00 per person per night - Maximum 14 days.

You must register and receive a backcountry camping permit at either the Gulf Coast or Flamingo area of the park no more than 24 hours in advance.

Permits are issue between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM. Staff at the Main Entrance Station issue permits for overnight hikes on the Old Ingraham Highway.

Reservations for backcountry chickees are not available. Rangers will assist campers with availability. Generally, sites are available even during the busy season.
