The "River of Grass" is Flowing.

Homestead/Miami: Due to high water conditions, the Shark Valley area of Everglades National Park is open but has limited services available. . Visitors to Shark Valley should be prepared for approximately 2 -3 inches of water flowing over the road between the gate and the entrance station. Please drive slowly as wildlife is using the road to feed. There are no trams are currently running and bicyclists can ride 5-miles on either side of the Shark Valley loop only. The tower is not accessible at this point. Please check the park website for daily updates at nps.gov/ever or contact Shark Valley direct at 305-221-8776. The remainder of the park has not been affected and is open as usual providing full services.
