Everglades National Park Opens Following Tropical Storm Isaac Closure HOMESTEAD, Florida - Everglades National Park experienced minor impacts from Tropical Storm Isaac. Park staff is working to open all visitor facilities in the next day. Everglades National Park will reopen at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, August 28. Areas re-opening include the main entrance west of Florida City, Flamingo, Shark Valley and the Gulf Coast Visitor Center at Everglades City.
