Parks as Classrooms

Curriculum Materials

Bring the Everglades into your classroom. Teachers, rangers, and other educators have helped develop our library of curriculum-based activities about water, wildlife, the environment and more.

Field Trips

Give students a hands-on experience in Everglades National Park. Curriculum-based ranger-led programs are available for 4th-6th grades. Find suggestions for leading your own group or requesting a special group program.

Materials to Loan

Borrow a small library of DVDs and CDs to use in your classroom. Learn about allligators, fire, birds, coral reefs, Everglades habitats, and more.

Traveling Trunks

Teachers can pick up a trunk full of activities and a classroom set of books for teaching 3rd-5th grade students about the Miccosukee Indian culture.

Guest Speakers

Request a park ranger to attend your next career day, classroom, or community event to bring an Everglades experience to you.
