  • Eugene O'Neill NHS Reduces Days Open

    Due to limited staffing and budget cuts, Eugene O'Neill NHS will only be taking reserved tours for 10 AM & 2PM on Fridays only. We are still open on Saturdays without reservations. Pick up our shuttle at 10, 12 & 2 at 205 Railroad Ave, Danville (Museum).

A Note on Visiting Eugene O'Neill National Historic Site

Eugene O'Neill National Historic Site is only accessible by National Park Service Shuttle. Visitors are not permitted to drive their personal/private vehicles to the site. Advance reservations are required for guided tours. Guided tours are offered on Fridays at either 10:00 am or 2:00 pm. Allow 2½ hours for your visit. Reservations can be made by calling (925)-838-0249. Office hours are Friday and Saturday from 9am to 5pm.

Reservation Free Saturdays

Self-guided tours are offered on Saturdays. Advance reservations are not required. Shuttles leave from downtown Danville at 10:00 am, 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm on a first-come, first-served basis. Please allow 1¾ hours for your visit. Shuttles depart from The Museum of the San Ramon Valley, 205 Railroad Avenue, Danville, California 94526.

Transportation is accessible to wheel chair users with advanced notice. The first floor of Tao House is accessible. A media presentation of the second floor guided tour is available.
