  • Eugene O'Neill NHS Reduces Days Open

    We will be closed for tours Mondays through Thursdays. Guided tours by reservation are on Fridays and Sundays at 10 & 2. Our self-guided Saturdays Without Reservations shuttle pick-up will be at 205 Railroad Ave., Danville, at 10:15 AM, 12:15 & 2:15 PM.

A Note on Visiting Eugene O'Neill National Historic Site

The park is closed Monday - Thursday.

Eugene O'Neill National Historic Site is only accessible by National Park Service Shuttle. Visitors are not permitted to drive their personal/private vehicles to the site. Advance reservations are required for guided tours. Guided tours are offered on Fridays and Sundays at either 10:00 am or 2:00 pm. Allow 2 hours for your visit. Reservations can be made by calling (925)-838-0249. Office hours are Friday and Saturday, Sunday from 9am to 5pm.

Reservation Free Saturdays

Self-guided tours are offered on Saturdays. Advance reservations are not required. Shuttles leave from downtown Danville at 10:15 AM, 12:15 PM and 2:15 PM on a first-come, first-served basis. Please allow 1.5 hours for your visit. Shuttles depart from The Museum of the San Ramon Valley, 205 Railroad Avenue, Danville, California 94526.
If one is walking up local roads, or sauntering through Las Trampas Wilderness to get here on Saturday, please be here by 3:30 PM.

Transportation is accessible to wheel chair users with advanced notice. The first floor of Tao House is accessible. A media presentation of the second floor guided tour is available.
