The Eleanor Roosevelt National Historic Site is experiencing high levels of visitation. Upon arrival to Val-Kill, visitors may purchase tickets for the next available tour, although available tours may be some hours after arrival time. Visitors may choose to reserve in advance using recreation.gov at least one day before their planned arrival.
From the Roosevelt-Vanderbilt National Historic Sites Reservation page at recreation.gov: choose, "Find tours" - Eleanor (Val-Kill) individual. Enter the date of your visit and the number of people in your party and choose "Search". Next, choose "book now" and on the following page select a tour time and indicate the number of adults and children in your party. Finally, choose "Book Now" and complete the payment process.

Note: Recreation.gov cannot process the National Park Service's senior passes for free admission.
Tickets for Vanderbilt Mansion and Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt can be purchased at each site's Visitor Center or may be reserved in advance at recreation.gov. Be advised that these sites are also experiencing high levels of visitation at this time.
