Entrance Fees and Passes

There is a $3 entrance fee for every individual 16 and over. Children under 16 are free. Your entrance fee receipt is valid at El Morro National Monument for seven days after the date of purchase.

 
El Morro Annual Pass

Visit El Morro as often as you like with the El Morro Annual Pass.
Entrance is free with a valid pass including the America the Beautiful Annual, Senior, and Access Passes, as well as with El Morro's Annual Pass. All passes are available for purchase at the visitor center. Learn more about the America the Beautiful passes.

All Golden Age and Golden Access Passports will continue to be honored according to the provisions of the pass. Only paper Golden Age and Access Passports may be exchanged free of charge for new plastic passes.

There is no fee for exploring the visitor center or using the picnic area.

Did You Know?
The first ranger cabin at El Morro National Monument, which also served as a tourist shelter, was built in the early 1900s and began as nothing more than a wooden shed.
