Exhibit Dedication at Poeh Museum
Join us at the Poeh Museum, Pueblo of Pojoaque, Santa Fe, New Mexico for the unveiling of three new outdoor exhibits on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. The exhibits were completed through a partnership between the Pueblo of Pojoaque and the National Park Service.

Traces of a dirt road, El Camino Real de Tierra Adentro, stretch across a southern New Mexico desert landscape

Brought to the New World by Spaniards, horses first arrived in New Mexico in the 16th century. For years afterward, many more horses were brought in via El Camino Real de Tierra Adentro. Indian tribes captured thousands of them, which were dispersed across the plains and integrated into American Indian culture.
