SPACE AVAILABLE FOR MUSEUM OVERNIGHT AT EISENHOWER NHS (Posted Sept. 21)
Space is still available for the “Ike at Night” Museum Overnight which will be held Friday, September 25, at the Eisenhower National Historic Site. Local fifth and sixth grade students are invited to register for this program sponsored by the National Park Service and the Gettysburg Recreation Department.
WWII WEEKEND AT EISENHOWER NHS (Posted Sept. 2)
The National Park Service will sponsor a WWII living history weekend at the Eisenhower NHS on September 19 and 20.
EISENHOWER SITE COMMEMORATES D-DAY ANNIVERSARY (Posted May 18)
June 6, is the 65th Anniversary of the D-Day invasion. Eisenhower and the soldiers that made the landings will be remembered in a special program, Eisenhower and the Men of D-Day, at Eisenhower National Historic Site.
MAMIE REMEMBERS GETTYSBURG AT EISENHOWER SITE (Posted May 16)
On Saturday, May 30th the National Park Service at Eisenhower National Historic Site will host the dramatic program, "Mamie Remembers Gettysburg." Local resident Ruthmary McIlhenny will portray Mamie Eisenhower at 11:15 a.m. and 2:15 p.m.
EISENHOWER HOME DECORATED FOR THE HOLIDAYS (Posted Dec. 2)
The National Park Service invites you to celebrate Christmas with Gettysburg’s First Family at the Eisenhower National Historic Site, December 1 through 31, 2008. The celebration includes a holiday reception on Saturday, December 13, featuring refreshments provided by Gettysburg Tours, Inc.
EISENHOWER SITE INTRODUCES NEW CELL PHONE TOUR (Posted Oct. 2)
Eisenhower National Historic Site has introduced a new cell phone audio tour, providing visitors of all ages a closer look at President and Mrs. Eisenhower’s life and times in Gettysburg.
