Your Recovery Dollars at Work

WEST ORANGE, NJ - Mr. Edison's home at The Glenmont Estate, was built in 1880. Over the years, the exterior has deteriorated to such an extent that water is finding its way inside, causing damage to interior surfaces and threatening the historic artifacts housed inside. Fortunately, the park has been granted funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act 2009. Through the grant, the exterior wood molding, siding and architectural features will be painted and sealed, protecting Glenmont for many years to come.
