Director's Order 10A - (Guideline for Preparation Of Design and Construction Drawings)
___
Director's Order 10B - (Drawing and Map Numbers Reference Manual)
___
CAD Standards - Denver Service Center
___
All drawings legible on half size prints, including all line work, text, symbols etc.
___
Coordination of information between all discipline drawings (dimensions, grid lines, common xrefs etc.).
___
Standard cover sheet with vicinity map. Includes appropriate approval block/revision block.
___
PMIS number on Cover Sheet.
___
Index titles match individual sheet titles.
___
Coordination of all drawings within all disciplines, including correct drawing number, PMIS number, and individual sheet numbers.
___
Legend reflects all discipline symbols used within the drawing set.
___
Abbreviation List reflects all discipline abbreviations used within the drawing set.
___
Project "bid options" are clearly called out and distinguishable from base bid.
___
Use of standard second sheet/plan & profile sheet. All title blocks include title of sheet and park name.
___
Title blocks are not "exploded" or "burst".
___
All drawings include a date stamp listing date/time of last save, the AutoCAD release version, drawing path, filename, and xref list.
___
All drawings are drawn in "real world" coordinates in model space. Viewport in paper space is at a "true scale".
___
Base survey files are located in "real world" within model space - base file in model space is not moved or rotated from "real world".
___
Northing and Easting coordinate control reflected on existing conditions base file.
___
Electronic files submitted are placed in their relative discipline files (Bases, Gen, Civil, LA, Arch, Struc, Mech, Elec).
___
Drawing names used as xrefs begin with an "x" and are located in the "Bases" folder.
___
Xrefs are "overlayed" and not "attached".
___
Northing and Easting Coordinate information is shown in decimal feet to the hundredths.
___
Entities which are not intended to be plotted are drawn with pen 8 or 9 (no plot pens).
___
Graphic scale bars - No "text scales".
___
Dimension style is associative.
___
Hatch is associative (do not explode hatch).
___
If "custom" hatch is used - hatch file is submitted.
___
Drawings reflecting existing conditions (screened pen) vs. new work (100% pens) and is clearly distinguishable/differentiated on plots.
___
Text - Drawing files use only romans.shx and arch.shx (all uppercase lettering). The exception is the use of arial.shx when converting other file formats to AutoCad .dwg format.
___
If photos or other raster files are included within the drawing, the file produces clear, legible prints.
___
Where necessary, text and contour labels are "masked".
___
Existing conditions drawing - survey control and a minimum of 3 labeled coordinate tics are labeled.
___
Demo items are not reflected on subsequent design subsheets (only shown on existing conditions sheet and demo sheet).
___
Xrefs are not "bound".
___
Files use xref relative paths.
___
Items such as scale bars/north arrows/std. details etc. are not xref'd.
___
Files comply with the CAD Standards Pen/Color configuration as shown in Figure 4-2.
___
Drawings use color dependent plot styles, not named plot styles.
___
All objects are "color by layer" only.
___
Project files comply with DSC folder structure, i.e. [park] \ [pmis] \ [phase] \ [discipline].
___
Drawing file names conform to the DSC drawing file naming conventions.
___
Layer names comply with DSC layering conventions (DSC CAD Standards) or standard AIA layer naming conventions.
___
All unused layers are deleted.
___
Each sub sheet is created as an individual .dwg file. (One single drawing file containing multiple sub sheets is not acceptable).
___
Printing/plotting set in paper space at 1:1 scale for full-size prints, 1:2 scale for half size prints.
___
Model space base entities are rotated within paper space viewport and not in model space.
___
No extraneous graphics or drawing entities exist outside the drawing border in order that "extents" can be set for plotting.
___
All non-standard .shx files are included with the .dwg files submitted. When the standard "NPS_HP_Grayscale.ctb" file is not used, the relative .ctb file is submitted.
