1.3 Accident Prevention & Blasting Safety Plans - Electronic Process (SharePoint)

Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) or Construction Management Representative (CMR)

• Review plans concurrently.
• NOTE: Government accepts or rejects plan, but does not approve.

DSC Safety Officer/DSC Blasting Officer

• Review plan and document comments on the CM-SPE form (on the NPS/DSC SharePoint Project website).
• Send e-mail alert to the COR.

COR

• Add your comments to the CM-SPE form.
• Based on the comments, select the appropriate accept or reject box.
• Sign the CM-SPE form.
• Process all resubmittals and supplements using the same process described above.

Guidelines:

• 1.3A Director's Order (DO) 65, Explosives use and Blasting Safety
• 1.3B Director's Order (DO) 50B, Occupation Safety and Health program

Templates:

• 1.3C CM-22 DSC Contractor Accident/Property Damage Report Form
  (Do not use park forms.)

Document Control:

• Accepted plans are retained in contract file, with copy to CMR.
