| DSC Partnership Council The management and employees of DSC, through their authorized representative the American Federation of Government Employees, Local 1105, entered into a formal partnership relationship in November of 1999. In the spirit of other successful labor-management partnerships, the purpose of the DSC Partnership Council was to design, implement, and maintain a cooperative, constructive working relationship between labor and management and to identify interests towards achieving common goals. Over a period of years, the partners have made a considerable effort and investment to establish an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust in accomplishing this mission. The partners have agreed to hold monthly council meetings to achieve the following objectives:
The Council has been credited with a number of achievements on behalf of the DSC and its employees. In May of 2001, the DSC Partnership Council was awarded the Denver Federal Executive Boards Excellence in Governments Award for Outstanding Labor / Management Partnership.
