Denver Service Center (DSC) is the National Park Service centralized planning,
design, and construction project management office providing environmentally
responsible and fiscally sound products jointly with private industry.
DSC is committed to preserving the natural and cultural resources in the
national park system while ensuring their use and fostering their appreciation.
The Denver Service Center is a collaborative
professional office with more than 225 individuals employed at the Lakewood,
CO. site. The workforce consists of:

DSC provides specialized services for national
parks, regions, architecture/engineering firms, and other partners. Strong
emphasis is placed on the unique needs of each customer.
DSC's projects are found worldwide -- ranging
from designing a mass transit system in Zion National Park in Utah,
to planning and designing the FDR Memorial in Washington, D.C., to assisting
Sri Lanka and other countries with their emerging park systems.
DSC also is the home of the NPS
Technical Information Center (TIC). TIC is a servicewide information
management and storage retrieval system for documents and drawings.
