Transportation In and Around St. Louis

Due to the nature of Discovery 2000, rental cars are not encouraged. All events either for the Conference or evening are within walking distance of all hotels, or transportation will be provided as necessary. There will be a continuous bus loop from nearby hotels to the Regal Riverfront Hotel where all sessions will be held.

Just 30 minutes from downtown, St. Louis' airport – Lambert Field – offers convenient access to the city. A state-of-the-art light rail station enhances the airport's accessibility by providing travelers with affordable service to downtown St. Louis. The light rail station serving the hotels is approximately three blocks from the headquarters hotel at 8th and Pine St. Station. The fare is $3.00 one way.

All hotels are served by Airport Express van service, which departs Lambert Field every 25 minutes from the baggage area from 6:50 am until 8:00 pm. Arrangements should be made at the desk in the baggage area. The cost is $10.00 one-way or $18.00 round trip.

Cab service is approximately $25.00 one-way directly to your downtown hotel. For a small additional charge, more than one person may share a cab.
