Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area
Upper Delaware Scenic River PA, NJ & NY

Route 97 a New York State scenic byway, runs 53 miles along the New York side of the Upper Delaware River between Port Jervis NY and Hancock NY, with impresssive lookouts over the river. The route also skirts the southwestern border of New York State's Catskill Mountains.

The river IS the park -- 73 miles of it, bordered by private lands in New York and Pennsylvania. Whitewater, a bridge by Roebling, and the home of Old West novelist Zane Grey.

Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum, located 10 miles north of Route 97 in Livingston Manor NY, is a non-profit organization devoted to the skill and lore of fly fishing and to educating the public about the ecosystems of fishing.
