Eligibility
By advance permit. Minimum of 5 campers.

Season
The area is open from March to December, dependent on weather and river conditions.

Restrictions
No allcohol. No pets.

Fees
$30.00 flat rate per night per site; Application process

Facilities
5 open sites, each with fire ring, picnic table and trash container. There is a well and water pump at the campground and the water is drinkable. Two vault toilets are centrally located. There is a common area for ceremonies and gatherings. There are no covered pavilions or shelters.

Steep access to river. Open space maintained between sites.

Accessibility
There are no ADA-sites at Rivers Bend (see Valley View), but vans/vehicles can pull up directly to the sites.

Health and Safety
Watch for poison ivy and ticks. Do not climb on fences.

Directions

The campsite entrance is on Old Mine Road, between Millbrook Village NJ and Peters Valley NJ. Rivers Bend is on the New Jersey bank of the river within Walpack Bend, and south of the mouth of Flat Brook.

Directions to Millbrook Village NJ

Northbound from Millbrook Village NJ: take Old Mine Road 1.5 miles north toward Walpack Center. Directly across from "Stop Ahead" sign, turn west (left) onto the dirt road to the campsites.

Southbound from Peters Valley NJ: follow NPS 615 south 10 miles  to the bridge across Flat Brook. Turn left and cross the bridge. Continue .25 mile and turn west (right) onto the dirt road to the campsites.
