Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) offers residential programs for groups and families. A former honeymoon resort, the facility has cabins (left) for those participating in programs, as well as activities, hiking trails, food, and a store.

Mohican Outdoor Center, a facility of the
Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) is located less than 1/2 mile off the Appalachian Trial in New Jersey.

 

Group Campsites

Rivers Bend Group Campsites NJ can be reserved through the park for camping groups.

Valley View Group Campsites PA can be reserved through the park for camping groups or families with 5 persons or more.

Did You Know?
... that in the 1750s, the northwest border of New Jersey (now Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area) was a frontier of the English colonies. In the French & Indian (Seven Years) War, a string of forts protected these settlements. The sites of seven of these outposts are in the park.
