Length: 0.9 mile, one-way See evidence of two different time periods along the trail. In the early 1900s, the Delaware Water Gap was a popular destination for vacationers and numerous hotels were once located throughout the area. Along the trail, the foundation of a casino and resort can still be seen. Stone fence rows are remnants from the farmland that was once here. The rocky cliff face high above the trail is perfect habitat for peregrine falcons. Connect with the Slateford Loop Trail to extend the hike. Other Information: From spring to early August the Arrow Island Trail may close due to nesting falcons. |
