Interns: Cultural Resources

Within the recreation area are also a variety of Cultural Resources: a 19th-century historic village, an array of historic structures, and more than 400 archeological sites that record 10,000 years of continuous human habitation in the Delaware Valley.

Architectural projects currently include documenting historic structures through measured drawings and photographs and researching and writing a draft nomination for the National Register.

Curatorial projects include cataloging museum objects, conducting inventory, organizing storage, re-housing archival photographs and museum objects, archival research on historic furnishings, and developing temporary exhibits.

Archeological projects involve assisting with archeological investigations, testing, lab and curatorial work.
