Dingmans Falls and other sites are part of the Geology Curriculum.

 

Dingmans Falls

The boardwalk trail at Dingmans Falls can offer a variety of learning opportunities. A standard ranger-guided Waterfall Walk addresses topics in water quality, geology, forest eco-systems, invasive species, and the National Park Service mission.

More in-depth programs for school groups can also be scheduled, or school groups can visit on their own. In either case, please contact the park's Education Coordinator at (570) 426-2429 (E-mail) to make arrangements.
