If you are a past castle employee who has worked for NPS, Xanterra, Amfac, TW Services, Fred Harvey or the Gospel Foundation, we invite you to attend our next reunion.

Come see old friends and meet others who have made Scotty's Castle such a unique place to work. This year we will gather on March 12 & 13, 2005. There will be a barbecue on Saturday evening and breakfast on Sunday morning. A variety of other activities are being planned as well. Chicken will be provided for the barbecue and we are asking that everyone bring a salad or dessert to share. Lemonade, iced tea and coffee will be available as well as plates and cutlery. Breakfast is completely provided. The cost of the reunion will cover these meals as well as a Scotty's Castle tote and the souvenir photo.

Instead of a T-shirt, the special souvenir this time will be a cookbook of favorite potluck recipes enjoyed by all of us over the years. To contribute to the cookbook, go online to www.morriscookbook.com and enter your recipe(s) by January 13, 2005. The login is: scottyspotluck , the password is: c85f6 . You may contribute up to three recipes to the cookbook. If you do not have access to the internet, send your recipe to Lesley Gaunt at P.O. Box 569, Death Valley, Ca 92328. The cost of the cookbook will be $5.00.

When you make your reservation please include the following information: Name, address, email, number of people in your party, the years you worked at the castle and if you want to purchase a cookbook. The cost of the reunion will be $20.00 per person. To pay for the reunion, send a check made payable to NDVCA (North Death Valley Community Association) and mail it to Reunion, P.O. Box 569, Death Valley, CA 92328 or pay when you arrive.

The inaugural employee reunion was held in April 2002 (see picture above for the turnout). Approximately 85 past and present NPS and Concession employees arrived and were able to catch up with old friends and meet some of the new staff. There were plenty of stories and good food shared by all.
