Wind River Dancers Perform at Devils Tower

The Cultural Program Series continues at Devils Tower National Monument with the Wind River Dancers presenting “A Cultural Heritage Shared through Dance and Songs” at 7:00 p.m. in the amphitheatre on Saturday, June 21, 2008. During this program, the Wind River Dancers will perform a variety of American Indian dance styles, which includes men’s traditional, grass and fancy feather and women’s fancy shawl, jingle dress and traditional. Drummers and singers will accompany the dancers. All of the dance styles along with the music will be described and explained to the audience in order to share in the rich Native American culture and heritage of the performers.
All programs are free with paid $10/vehicle entrance fee into the monument. Program will move to the park's picnic shelter during inclement weather. For more information contact the Devils Tower Visitor Center at 307-467-5283 x 635 or visit our website at www.nps.gov/deto.
