The park staff invites you to visit Devils Tower National Monument April 22- 28, during National Park Week. This annual Presidentially proclaimed week celebrates and recognizes America’s special places. Saturday, April 28, is Junior Ranger Day. Children of all ages are invited to become Junior Rangers by completing booklets available at the Visitor Center. The Junior Ranger program is available year-round, but on April 28, Special Junior Ranger walks around the Tower will be given at 10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Children that participate on Junior Ranger Day will also receive a special certificate and button along with their Junior Ranger badge. The embroidered Junior Ranger patch will be on sale at the bookstore for fifty cents.
The visitor center opens for the summer on April 18, 2007. Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday from April 18 through April 29. Beginning April 30, the visitor center will be open daily. On May 26, visitor center hours extend to 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. daily. The extended hours continue until September 3, when hours change to 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The entrance fee is $10 per vehicle or consider purchasing an annual park pass for $20.
The Belle Fourche campground and picnic area open Friday, April 27 and will remain open through the end of October, weather permitting. Camping fees are $12 per night. Golden age, Interagency Senior, Golden Access, and Interagency Access cardholders pay $6.00 per night. The campground has flush toilets and fresh water available, but does not have any hook-ups.

The monument offers various programs and activities throughout the summer. The Cultural Program Series brings special guest speakers to Devils Tower National Monument to share their expertise and demonstrate their unique talents. The Cultural Program Series ends with the annual Cowboy Poet Festival on Sunday, September 2, 2007.
