AUGUST FULL MOON WALK AT DEVILS TOWER

Explore the night time secrets of Devils Tower under the glow of the full moon. This night walk will take place on Tuesday, August 28 at 9:00 p.m. The walk will provide an opportunity to explore Devils Tower National Monument after sunset to look at the formation and historical accounts of the Tower, local plants and animals, Native American stories, and other nightly wonders. The walk will be limited to 35 people. For reservations, call the Devils Tower Visitor Center at 307-467-5283 x 635. Participants will meet at the Joyner Ridge Trail parking lot. A flashlight, jacket and comfortable walking shoes are recommended. No headlamps will be permitted. The walk will last just over an hour and is NOT handicap accessible. The program is free with the $10 monument entrance fee.
