Looking for something fun, free, and fantastic to do with family and friends? Head out to America's first national monument, Devils Tower National Monument, where millions of stars light up the dark night sky, deer and antelope (and a few other critters!) play on the wide open range, and where history is an unbelievable experience. And the best news? During National Park Week, April 21-29, Devils Tower National Monument along with the other 396 national parks offers free admission, all week long! Enjoy special sales throughout the bookstore in celebration of National Park Week, compliments of the Devils Tower Natural History Association.

The National Park Service is proud to once again join with the National Park Foundation, the official charity of America's national parks, to present National Park Week.

Saturday, April 28, National Junior Ranger Day, Devils Tower N.M. invites young visitors to explore, learn, and protect America's first national monument. After the completion of the junior ranger booklet the young visitors are sworn in as Junior Rangers and awarded a Junior Ranger badge and a special Junior Ranger Day certificate.

Park rangers will be on staff to present interpretive programs about the geology of the tower, climbing, the tower as a sacred place recognized by many Tribal Nations, the history of ranching around the area, and the many wildlife found in the area.

Also, don't forget to check out www.nationalparkweek.org. There you can share photos and videos of your trip to Devils Tower N.M. While you're there, learn about the many ways you can help support your national parks year round.
