Camp Uzita Opens for 2012-2013 Winter Season

De Soto National Memorial begins its 40th living history season. Park Staff dress the parts of 16th century Europeans and give talks and demonstrations about Conquistador Hernando de Soto's 1539 expedition and the Native American societies they encountered. We will many special guests to help kick off this anniversary.
