Tor (M)

Tor is the only floppy-eared dog of his litter. He’s a handsome, smart boy who loves to be groomed and loves running and pulling even more. Along with his litter mates, Esker and Pingo, Tor has become a great lead dog. He is enthusiastic and acts as a motivating force for the whole team. His one biggest and most troublesome weakness is a love of wildlife. If a snowshoe hare or red squirrel shows up while Tor is in lead, the team is probably taking a trip off-trail through the woods.

Tor's name is defined as a high rock or pile of rocks on the top of a hill.

Natural sound is a matter of life and death to some animals

Did You Know?
Natural sound is a matter of life and death to animals relying on complex communications. Intrusions of noise can adversely impact some wildlife, and some visitors' experiences. Denali soundscapes have been monitored since 2000, to help park managers understand Denali's natural sounds
