Sesi (F)

Sesi is a very sweet, mellow girl, but she loves to play with other dogs. Sesi is on the small side, although when she was born, she was the biggest in the litter! She is the one dog at the kennels that sometimes has wild streak and tries to go off and explore the park by herself. She always comes back to her friends and playmates at the kennels though, taunting them and running around.

The word sesi in Athabaskan (the language of the native peoples that inhabit this area) means compacted snow.

Did You Know?
Did you know that Denali National Park and Preserve is home to both black bears and grizzly (brown) bears? Black bears inhabit the forested areas of the park, while grizzly bears mainly live on the open tundra. Almost all bears seen by visitors along the Park Road are grizzlies.
