Pingo (F)

Born
: 06/15/2002
Weight: 61 lbs
Alaska Land Form Litter

Pingo is one of the most playful girls in the kennel. Although she is on the small side, she is one of our most enthusiastic workers. During hook-up in the summer, she amuses the visitors by springing up and down in her harness as she waits to go. Pingo is an intelligent dog and a wonderfully receptive leader.

Pingo gave birth to the 2011 litter of pups, named Koven, Carpe and Tatum.

Pingo's (Inuit pingu) name is defined as an arctic or sub-arctic mound or conical hill consisting of an outer layer of soil covering a core of solid ice.

Did You Know?
Did you know that Denali National Park and Preserve is home to both black bears and grizzly (brown) bears? Black bears inhabit the forested areas of the park, while grizzly bears mainly live on the open tundra. Almost all bears seen by visitors along the Park Road are grizzlies.
