Lava (M)

So far, Lava is the nuttiest of the yearling volcano litter. He tries to listen, but can't help jumping around and getting excited. He loves playing games with his uncle Cassin, at the neighboring doghouse, getting the whole dog yard worked up into jealous chaos. He is a favorite with visitors due to his goofy antics, baby blue eyes and floppy ears.

Did You Know?
Did you know that in 1908, Charles Sheldon – a hunter and naturalist – described in his journal the idea of a park that would allow visitors to enjoy the beauty he saw while visiting Alaska. In 1917 his vision became reality, with the creation of Mount McKinley National Park.
