Both the Tundra Wilderness Tour (six to eight hours roundtrip during peak season) and the Denali Natural History Tour (five hours roundtrip) provide formal interpretive programs. Both tours provide a snack or box lunch and hot drinks.


Denali Natural History Tour:

This 5-hour, fully narrated cultural history tour goes to Primrose Ridge at Mile 17. Includes a visit to the historic Savage Cabin and an Alaska Native interpretive program. There are three general departure times daily.

Cost (adult): $50.30
Cost (children 14 & under): $24.75

Prices do NOT include the $10 NPS entrance fee.


Tundra Wilderness Tours:

Early or Late Season (Teklanika Tundra Wilderness Tour)

Teklanika Wilderness Tour Fees:

Cost (adult): $54.25
Cost (children 14 & under): $27.25

May 15th - 19th and September 16th - 20th weather permitting

Tours 4-5 hours in length to mile 29. Early morning and early afternoon departures daily.

Tundra Wilderness Tour Fees:

Cost (adult): $80.75
Cost (children 14 & under): $40.50

Peak Season
May 20th - September 14th

Tours six to eight hours in length to mile 53, Toklat River. Early morning & afternoon departures daily.

 

Prices do NOT include the $10 NPS entrance fee.


Wheelchair accessible buses are available, please advise staff when making reservations.


Tour Bus Reservations

Make your reservations for an AM, midday, or PM tour. The reservation agent will assist you as actual departure times vary on a daily basis.

Children under 4 years and/or 40 pounds are required to be in a child safety device (car seat) to ride on buses. Please make arrangements to bring your own.
