2010 Towpath Tag

Your donation will enhance programs and activities that protect park resources and provide visitor services at Cuyahoga Valley National Park. There are many different opportunities available to support the park.

For example, you can support the Towpath Trail by making an annual donation to the Towpath Tag program. For a donation of $5 or more, you get your own Towpath Tag or a special one for your dog. All donations collected in this program are used to help support Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

Is there one spot in Cuyahoga Valley National Park that means more to you than any other? Now, you can sponsor that acre of the park for a year! Cuyahoga Valley National Park Association announces the launch of ParkShares, a green, web-based initiative that allows you to invest in the future of Cuyahoga Valley National Park. You can sponsor an acre of the park, create a personal webpage featuring photos and a personal blog, and learn about the cultural and natural resources around your acre. By logging on and sponsoring an acre, you will be supporting educational programs, special events, and preservation efforts in Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

Your philanthropic contributions continue to make a significant difference; we welcome and are grateful for your support. The newly established John P. Debo, Jr. Partnership and Community Engagement Fund has been established to promote partnership and community engagement.

Get involved in TRAILS FOREVER today!

Public philanthropy is also essential to the success of the Trails Forever initiative. This initiative builds on a strong foundation of existing trails to highlight and undertake needed capital improvement projects. These efforts will take the park’s trail system to the highest standards of design and operation.

Did You Know?
American Indians in the Cuyahoga Valley were influenced by the Hopewell Culture, which created large mound complexes in central Ohio from 100 B.C. – A.D. 500? In the Cuyahoga Valley, American Indians built small mounds rather than large ceremonial centers.
