Grab a blanket and a picnic dinner, and bring your family to hear FREE music in the national park! The celebration begins with lawn games and activities for families and friends. Bring a Frisbee or a kite! The concert series is presented by Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CVNP) and the Cuyahoga Valley National Park Association (CVNPA) with promotional support by AudioTechnica. Alcohol prohibited. Howe Meadow. Activities begin at 5:30 p.m. Concerts begin at 6:30. In the event of severe weather concert will be canceled.

Experience HeartBEAT Africa’s style of percussion using trashcans, buckets, African drums, conventional drums, and rhythms played by feet, body, and hands. This ensemble performs street and traditional African percussion, song, storytelling, theatre, and dance to preserve traditional African music in America.

Zydeco music is all about energy and heat - and Mo’ Mojo has plenty of both! The band's music adds Cajun melodies to blues sounds from throughout the south, combining French-style accordion, danceable drum beats, rock-solid bass guitar, blazing electric guitar, and the ever-popular rub board.

Sammy De Leon and his Latin Jazz Orchestra have put a combination of traditional salsa rhythms together with a more aggressive and progressive style. This combination enables the band’s music to delight not just the Salsa, Merengue, Mambo, and Latin Jazz music lovers, but also other listeners of other music genres.

Carlos Jones & the P.L.U.S Band
Carlos Jones & the P.L.U.S. Band delivers a dose of soulful roots reggae with infectious rhythms woven by the group's use of percussion instruments. Their repertoire includes many original songs, plus a generous helping of Bob Marley, Culture, and other recognizable covers mixed in with traditional Rastafarian Nyabinghi drum chants.
