Just Getting Started Hikes
Join a park ranger for a low-intensity series for novice hikers interested in outdoor exercise. Comfortable walking shoes and drinking water recommended.

1-mile on the rolling, unpaved Lake Trail, Kendall Lake Shelter, 2 - 3 p.m. 

Saturday, June 28
0.5-mile loop on the hilly, unpaved Haskell Run Trail. Grade is steep in places. Happy Days Lodge (main parking lot), 10:30 - 11:30 a.m..

Sunday, July 6
0.5-mile on the hilly, unpaved Ledges Trail to explore the Ledges Overlook. Ledges Shelter, 2 - 3 p.m.

Saturday, July 19
1.5-miles on the flat, unpaved Oak Hill Trail by Sylvan Pond. Oak Hill Trailhead, 10:30 - 11:30 p.m.

Sunday, August 3
1 mile round trip on the firm, flat Towpath Trail to the Beaver Marsh. Wheelchair and stroller accessible, Ira Trailhead, 2 - 3 p.m.

Saturday, August 16
Less-than-1-mill walk to explore the hilly, unpaved area around Brandywine Falls, 11 a.m. - noon.
