Get Up, Get Out, & Go!
Mondays through Thursdays, June 23 - July 24

Get Up, Get Out & Go! offers free outdoor recreational activities for kids ages 11 - 14 and their families to get out into their national park, Summit Metro Parks, and Cleveland Metroparks. Activities include wilderness training, night hiking, cycling, and fishing. Regular programs are Mondays and Wednesdays in Cleveland, and Tuesdays and Thursdays in Akron. Cleveland programs are supported by the Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland and the Cleveland Clinic. Locations vary. 7 - 9 p.m.

On Wednesday, July 23, there will be a FREE Music in the Meadows concert with family activities beforehand. Howe Meadow, 5:30 p.m. family activities, 6:30 p.m. concert begins.

Kids attending three programs earn a 2014 Junior Ranger badge. Those attending eight will be eligible for a weekend campout. Registration is encouraged. For more information and a schedule, contact Park Ranger Brady Bourquin at 440-343-7035 or brady_bourquin@nps.gov.
