Cuyahoga Valley Heritage Concert
Friday, February 20
The Chicago Sun Times has called blues band Mississippi Heat "quite simply the hottest band in Chicago." For more than 20 years, the band has followed the unwavering vision of bandleader and composer Pierre Lacocque. Heat marries the golden sounds of 1950s Chicago Blues greats (think Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, and Jimmy Rogers) with a preference for writing original music. Admission: $17 adults, $12 Conservancy members, $5 children ages 3 - 12. Happy Days Lodge. Doors open at 7 p.m. and concert begins at 8 p.m.
Presented by the National Park Service and the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Cuyahoga Valley Heritage Concerts celebrate our valley's cultural legacy. This series is made possible thanks to the generous support of Cable 9 Television, Cascade Auto Group, and the Lloyd L. and Louise K. Smith Foundation.
No cash refunds, but tickets may be exchanged up to 10 days before the concert. Advance sales available by calling 330-657-2909, option 4, or purchasing online at conservancyforcvnp.org. Click on Events for listings and registration.
