  • Trail Closures

    The Towpath Trail will be closed during the day at Bath Rd for repair, Mon-Tue, 7/21-7/22, between Ira and Bath roads for repair. No detour. Ira parking lot open. Valley Bridle Trail south of SR 303, across from golf course, is collapsed by river. Closed.

  • Brandywine Creek Foot Bridge Closed

    The footbridge that crosses over the Brandywine Creek on the Brandywine Gorge Trail is closed due to damage sustained during a recent storm. The trail remains open but there is no detour. Visitors will need to backtrack to get back to parking lot. More »

Enjoy the serenity of winter in the Cuyahoga Valley by snowshoe! A park ranger will give a brief lesson on how to snowshoe before each hike. Bring water and dress for an active outdoor outing. Space is limited. Fee: $5 per person for snowshoe rental. When snow is less than 4 inches, programs are conducted as hikes without snowshoes and are free. No advance payment is required. Discover what it is like to snowshoe through large stands of eastern white pine. Their long, soft, green needles are a lovely contrast to white snow. Join us on this 2.5-mile moderate snowshoe hike over hills and along a scenic plateau. 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
