  • NPS Seeks Comment on Proposed Regulation for Off-Road Bicycle Trails

The 2014 Gay Games
Saturday through Saturday, August 9 - 16

One of the biggest sports and cultural festivals in the world comes to Greater Cleveland. The 2014 Gay Games are open to all adults, regardless of sexual orientation or athletic abililty. With more than 35 sports, there's something for everybody. Cuyahoga Valley National Park proudly hosts the following two events.

10K Race-Rescheduled!
Wednesday, August 13

(originally scheduled for Monday, August 11)
From Botzum Trailhead, runners race south (in part) along the Towpath Trail to the finish line at Mustill Store. Shuttles available from Akron Northside Station. 7 p.m.

Music in the Meadow: Tylan & Ingrid and the Mouths of Babes (formerly The Laura Love Duo)
Wednesday, August 13
In celebration of the 2014 Gay Games, join us for this special two-act extended concert. Grab a blanket and a picnic dinner and bring your family to hear FREE music in the national park! Alcohol prohibited. Howe Meadow, 5:30 p.m. family activities, 6:30 p.m. concert begins. If there is inclement weather, the concert will move to Happy Days Lodge and free same-day tickets will be available at www.conservancyforcvnp.org.
