Brecksville, Ohio - The National Park Service (NPS) is reopening the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail from Botzum Trailhead in Akron to Boston Store Visitor Center in the Village of Boston.

The Towpath Trail from Boston Store Visitor Center north to Lock 39 Trailhead in Valley View remains closed to further access damage from impending heavy rains.

Please respect all closures and stay away from flooded areas.
