Joining Ed this month is singer, guitarist, and songwriter Kathy Johnson, performing her own originals, folk, vintage country, cowboy songs, and popular standards. Her programs combine interesting material, witty commentary, and a fun straightforward style. Kathy has recorded three CDs which received enthusiastic reviews from critics and fans. For over 25 years, she has sung at festivals and clubs in the Eastern U.S., Nashville, and Canada and has performed 12 years at First Night Akron. She is in the Ohio Arts Council's Performing Arts on Tour program and is on the Artist Roster of the Millennium Stage at The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
