Brecksville, Ohio – Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CVNP) invites you to our Sunday Fun Days on Sundays, June 16, July 21, and August 25, from 1 to 4 p.m. Pack a picnic lunch to enjoy in our Octagon Shelter or spread a blanket in the adjacent grassy field. Field games include trashcan Frisbee, sack races, corn hole, and beach ball volleyball.

A highlight of each Sunday Fun Day will be an Underground Railroad hike. During this short walk, costumed characters will bring the past to life with experiential programs that explore the triumphs and dangerous realities of the Underground Railroad. Bring your family, your group, or come on your own. Underground Railroad hikes depart at 1:30, 2, and 2:30 p.m.

Octagon Shelter is located on Truxell/Kendall Park Road, 1.5 miles west of Akron Cleveland Road, Peninsula 44264. CVNP encompasses 33,000 acres along the Cuyahoga River between Cleveland and Akron, Ohio. Managed by the National Park Service, CVNP combines cultural, historical, recreational, and natural activities in one setting. For more information visit www.nps.gov/cuva or call 330-657-2752.
