Cuyahoga Valley Heritage Series Concerts
 
We are currently scheduling performers for this fall's Cuyahoga Valley Heritage Concert Series. Check back mid-July for details.
 
The Cuyahoga Valley Heritage Series, presented by the National Park Service and Cuyahoga Valley National Park Association (CVNPA), celebrates the cultural legacy of the Cuyahoga Valley. For more information about CVNPA and its membership program, visit www.cvnpa.org or call (330) 657 -2909. Admission unless otherwise noted: $15 adults, $10 CVNPA members, and $5 children 3 - 12. General seating. Advance sales are available by calling (330) 657 -2909 or by stopping in at Park Place in Peninsula store. You can create your own subscription series and gift subscriptions are available. All concerts are held at Happy Days Lodge and begin at 8 p.m. unless otherwise stated. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Lock 27 along the Ohio & Erie Canal became known as Johnnycake Lock after several boats ran aground due to flooding. While stranded, supplies ran low and canal passengers and crew ate only corn meal pancakes, known as "johnnycakes
