Cumberland Island National Seashore and the National Park Service would like to thank you for your donation consideration and would like to take a moment to clarify the donation options that are available to you. There are several different forms of donation to choose from including giving a gift in honor or memory of someone, supporting a park fund/program, or even making a bequest to leave a legacy. Our park as well as the National Park Service as a whole has many funds/programs that are available for donation including Connecting Youth to Parks, Education Programs, Trail Maintenance/ Trails Forever, as well as Wildlife and Habitat Restoration programs.
If you chose to donate to our park directly, please know that the entire gift will be used for the purpose you identify. No administrative cost is deducted from your gift to Cumberland Island National Seashore or the National Park Service. Your check will be deposited in a government account and the full amount will be spent as you intended. Most parks have separate donation accounts for park-specific projects and programs for which you can earmark your gift. Government accounts are non-interest bearing and cannot generate interest between the time it is deposited and the time it is spent.
If you would like to make an anonymous donation to our park, please drop your gift into one of our donation boxes located at the mainland Museum as well as the Sea Camp Ranger Station. If you would like your donation to be used for a specific purpose, we ask that you make a note to include with your donation that specifies how you would like the gift to be used as well as your personal information including your name and whether or not you would mind being recognized for your generosity. If you prefer to submit your gift in the form of a personal check, please make it payable to "Cumberland Island National Seashore". Any of our park staff would be happy to accept your donation or you are more than welcome to mail it to:

For security and other reasons, you cannot make online contributions directly to the park or the National Parks Service. But the National Park Foundation works directly with the National Park Service in helping to fund our park needs. If you would like to donate to the National Park Foundation, you can do so by clicking the “Support the National Park Service” and Ranger hat icon on the left hand side of your screen.
