Linked is a copy of the Draft Plans and Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for Cumberland Island National Seashore for your review and comment. (To view this document, you will need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.) The draft plans address wilderness management, commercial services, interpretation, and resource (cultural and natural) management. Because several of the proposed actions modify the park's General Management Plan (GMP) of 1984, the Draft Plans and EIS also serve as an amendment to the 1984 GMP.

Because of numerous requests, the public comment period for the Draft Plans and EIS has been extended through July 16, 2001. Please address your written comments to:
