Kids of all ages can enjoy the Seashore.  If you can't join us for a program, here are a few projects you can try at home.

Web Ranger
Be a ranger even if you are not able to visit a National Park.  Activities change from time to time. Click here to login to the National Park Service Web Ranger site.

Junior Ranger Program
Junior Ranger booklets are available for ages 5-12 at the Sea Camp Ranger Station and the Mainland Visitor Center.  Learn about Cumberland Island by becoming a Junior Ranger.   After completing the activities, check with a ranger to receive your Junior Ranger badge.

Educational Programs
Curriculum based educational programs are given throughout the school year.  Ferry reservations are required before scheduling a school program.  Once you have ferry reservations, please contact our Interpretation and Education division at 912-882-4336 x. 257 to discuss program options.  Please allow at least six weeks to schedule a program.  Program options are based on staff availability.

 

Youth Conservation Corps

Each summer youth from Camden County High School join the Youth Conservation Corps hosted by Cumberland Island National Seashore. For eight weeks these dedicated teens give of themselves to support the mission of the National Park Service. This years corps will be logging their experience through their own facebook page. Follow them and LIKE their experience to see how they impact the Seashore.
