Alcohol Policy

Alcohol is allowed at individual camp sites but not permitted in public areas or buildings within the park. 

Open containers are not allowed in a vehicle that is in operation.  It is illegal to operate a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.  

All applicable laws pertaining to alcohol are strictly enforced.

Although Cumberland Gap is designated a national historical park, 14,000 of its 20,000+ acres have been proposed, and are managed, as wilderness.
