Attend a secession debate, listen to the thoughts of Lincoln and Lee, become a participant in the story of the war between the states at Cumberland Gap.

Living History
Numerous living history venues will showcase the story of the Civil War. Topics will include: The Emancipation Proclamation, daily lives of soldiers, communications, flags, sutlers and supplies.

Encounters in the Dark
An underground candlelit journey into the "Soldier's Cave" will provide participants the opportunity to stand where the soldiers stood and learn of their daily lives stationed on the mountain overlooking the historic Cumberland Gap.

Civil War Era Ball
Period clothing and music will be on full display as we dance under the stars! 

"Tea and Corsets"
An afternoon of historic fashion and sweet delicacies.

Unveiling of a Restored Cannon
Recently restored cannons and earth works willl be unveiled.

Sutlers
Vendors with costumes and period wares will be on site. Period items will be available to observe and even purchase!

Did You Know?
Civil War buffs will appreciate the fact that the famous Confederate Brigadier General Felix Zollicoffer personally supervised the construction of the earthen fortifications at Cumberland Gap.
