Abstracts of International Conservation Literature
Getty Conservation Institute's database contains 100,000 citations related to the many fields of heritage preservation. Topics include: archaeological methods, architectural conservation, education and training, etc.

AGRICOLA
This National Agriculture Library database covers all aspects of agriculture and allied disciplines, including plant sciences, forestry, farming and farming systems, agricultural economics, extension and education, food and human nutrition, and earth and environmental sciences.

Environmental Justice Bibliography
The Environmental Justice Bibliography Database (EJBib) is created and maintained by the US EPA's Office of Environmental Justice. Topics include environmental justice, risk assessment and social justice. The database contains 2600 records from a variety of sources and is a work in progress.

Native American Consultation Database
National Park Service and University of Arkansas' "...tool for identifying consultation contacts for Indian tribes, Alaska Native villages and corporations, and Native Hawaiian organizations. The database is not a comprehensive source of information, but it does provide a starting point for the consultation process by identifying tribal leaders and NAGPRA contacts."

National Archaeological Database
National Park Service and University of Arkansas' "....bibliographic inventory of approximately 350,000 reports on archeological planning and investigation, mostly of limited circulation. This "gray literature" represents a large portion of the primary information available on archeological sites in the U.S. NADB-Reports was last updated in August 2004."

National Environmental Publications Information System
"...over 10,000 full-text [U.S.] EPA documents online."

PubMed
"PubMed, a service of the National Library of Medicine, includes over 15 million citations for biomedical articles back to the 1950's. These citations are from MEDLINE and additional life science journals. PubMed includes links to many sites providing full text articles and other related resources."

This database is created and maintained by the World Resources Institute with a focus on enviromental, social and economic trends.

National Atlas of the United States
US Geological Survey's " ...National Atlas of the United States® is intended to provide a comprehensive, map-like view into the enormous wealth of data collected by the Federal Government."

National Historic Landmarks Program Database
This National Park Service database contains basic information on all nationally registered National Historic Landmarks. Each record contains a registry number, date of designation and a brief description.

NatureNet
The National Park Service portal on natural resources information in the National Parks.

ScienceDirect (Elsevier Publishing)
A fee-based online platform for full-text and bibliographic access to scientific literature. ScienceDirect also allows users to register and create "alerts" to new journal literature table-of-contents and topic alerts for free.

Science.gov
"...a gateway to 47 million pages of government science information." Use the "Alert" feature to have updates emailed to you.
