cover of Collaboration and Conservation Report

The Conservation Study Institute has released the sixth publication in its Conservation and Stewardship Publication Series. Collaboration and Conservation: Lessons Learned from National Park Service Partnership Areas in the Western United States is the result of a workshop held in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2003. The workshop looked at experiences in the West and summarized insights and recommendations for creating an institutional framework and processes that will sustain partnerships over the long term. This workshop was a follow-up to a symposium held in Woodstock, Vermont, in 2000. The workshop was convened for the National Park Service Planning and Special Studies Program by the Conservation Study Institute and QLF/Atlantic Center for the Environment.
